When I moved into 2000 Biscayne in January, I loved it — the design, the location, the promise of luxury living. Unfortunately, the reality has been far from that. Just three months later, a fire sprinkler line burst, flooding over 30 floors. For months, we lived amid constant construction noise and dust while paying full rent. Management’s response was poor — limited communication, slow updates, and low-quality repairs that left visible damage in apartments and hallways. Now, several residents have found mold behind their walls, and many (including me) are experiencing allergy symptoms. Hallways still look unfinished, power surges are common, and basic maintenance is unreliable. The building entry system only works with U.S. phone numbers, which caused serious issues when my sister visited from abroad — staff didn’t know how to issue a guest pass, and I had to book her a hotel instead. The last straw was in October, when my car was scratched in the garage. Management reviewed the footage but said it happened in a camera blind spot, leaving me with a $3,400 repair bill. For a property marketed as “luxury,” it’s been disappointing. I truly hope management takes accountability and starts addressing the real issues — not just the cosmetics.

Avoid this building unless you like living in a mold incubator. A fire sprinkler line burst and flooded over 30 floors. Management offered no compensation, barely communicated, and focused on cosmetic fixes instead of real remediation. Now, tenants are finding mold behind their walls and we’re all wondering if our air is safe to breathe. Elevators are still unreliable, hallways smell musty, and basic maintenance is a joke. For a "luxury building," it's giving health hazard.
