Great Potential but not there yet

The apartment is remodeled nicely but still done very cheap and could have been done much better. The building is falling apart. The rugs in the hallway smell, their is dog pee and poop everywhere, the facilites are old and decayed.

We have lived here 2 years. Living is easy but lots of dogs. Our college grandchilden live with us and they are very happy with the building. The location is great. Maintenance is addressed quickly and graciously. Downsides are the windows and the freight trains - although we have gotten use to them and now sort of enjoy the throwback to our early years when trains were a part of life. Plus is the building is very close to the Brightline.

If Location is Important, this place rocks

Overall I love living at 10X Mizner Park. I'd say that I don't really utilize many of the amenities on the campus but there are a few, form what I have seen they are closed a lot, but that makes sense for a community that is having a complete overhaul. I think the place is moving in the right direction with the renovations, the apartments are very nice, although some of the upgrades are tacky. Maintenance can be tricky, primarily my apartment wasn't checked before I moved in so I have issues but once resolved I do thoroughly enjoy living at 10X, the location can't be beat. The parking is horrendous, that I wish they could fix without having to charge me 110 a month for a parking spot. Driving up the garage every day stinks, and guest parking is very hard during the week because of the tickets that get put on cars after an hour from the bank parking lot. I also wish they would invest in some charging stations in the garage as that incentivizes folks to drive electric and might even get some spots, I'd pay for the spot if it had a charging capacity for my car. The staff is great, security is awesome and they are courteous. They're always helpful and trying to support a lot of folks.

Bang for your buck

Overall haven't had a bad experience. Moved in knowing the building will be undergoing renovations over the next few years. Chris has been awesome helping with transferring units and resolving issues. Maintenance guys are fast, polite, and friendly. Only down sides are some office staff clearly hate their life and enjoy knowing they have expiation authority. Have heard horror stories from tenants, the management company is very cheap cut hours of the security in building, only one competent guard the rest who tend to work are lazy and can never be found. For the price it's not bad but rates are going down in the area for nicer and better building which are in the same price range and some cases even cheaper. Location is great but it's your standard economy rental building trying to put lip stick on a pig and pass it as something better. I've enjoyed my experience overall as I know what to expect and even renewed my lease.
