Overview
Westfalen Apartment Complex is located on Bacon Avenue, just south of Dover Downs, in Dover, Delaware. It is a combination of one, two & three-bedroom apartments, and two & three-bedroom townhouse-style apartments. Every apartment has been completely renovated. The heating system, air conditioner, and water heaters are modern and energy efficient. Each apartment has a patio/balcony that overlooks the spacious lawn. ** Only our 3 bedroom townhouse-style, and 3 bedroom apartments qualify for the Section 8 Voucher Program.

Apartment OnLine Rental Application Process:
Our OnLine Application Process requires each person who will to be on the lease to login and complete an application for us to run a Credit Check and a Criminal Background Check. When your application is completed and submitted, you will be required to pay a $50.00 application fee (per person). This fee can be paid with your choice of charge card, debit card or via ACH.
When your application is approved, your account will then automatically be charged a $250.00 Hold Deposit to reserve your chosen apartment in your name. This will be charged to the same charge card, debit card or ACH account used for your application fee.
If you choose not to continue with the OnLine Application Process, you may download an application from CIMC's website www.colonialinvestment.com( ) or pick one up at CIMC's office. Please be aware that applications not submitted online must be accompanied by a $50.00 Check or Money Order and the $250.00 Hold Deposit should be paid with either a Money Order or Certified Check.
When you move into your apartment, the $250.00 is applied toward the Security Deposit, which is equal to one month's rent. At move-in, you will need to pay the remaining Security Deposit, Pet Deposit if applicable, and the first month's rent, which is pro-rated to the actual number of days that you will have possession of the apartment. Contact CIMC's office for move-in details.
In order to view an apartment, you will need to schedule an appointment through the CIMC office . You will view the actual apartment that is available (we do not have "Models"), and will have the opportunity to ask additional questions. This may be done before or after you have submitted your application and paid your Hold Deposit.
Pet Policy
Dog/Cat Policy - We do permit pets: One pet per apartment, and it cannot be more that 30 pounds full grown. These are strictly enforced and, if violated, may be cause for termination of your lease. A $300.00 potentially refundable Pet Deposit is required, but there is no additional monthly fee. We reserve the right to exclude aggressive and/or exotic pets.
