Verge

We moved in August 2023 and so far loving our experience. The staff is really nice and the building is well kept. Our only complain is that we do not have assigned parking. Another issue, is that the neighborhood is not the safest right now.

I have enjoyed living in the Verge so far. Kind and responsive staff, great amenities and a good value for your money.

I think that Verge DC provides an excellent quality of life. The amenities are new and well kept, staff is friendly, and the the mail system in efficient. The only drawback of this location is that it is quite far from the metro station.

TLDR/BLUF: I love living here. It's beautiful, has excellent amenities, and is far enough from the hustle of Navy Yard and feels safe. I would now separate my experience into two portion (1) the application and leasing process and (2) living here. The application process was less than streamlined. At times, it felt like I was doing most of the work and wouldn't get timely responses. I've read similar reviews and have had similar experiences at some other properties during my "apartment hunting." I'm not sure if it's a DC thing, but I shouldn't have to hound you for my business -- I wanted to live here and wanted to get approved quickly. It took about 3 weeks from start to finish, even though I have a perfect rental history and excellent credit (I really think it was a management function). That said, I love living here. The concierge staff is amazing, packing delivery is seamless, the amenities are excellent, the gym is small but sufficient (DBs go to 100 or near that, which is rare!), and my apartment is stunning. No complaints once you actually get settled.

I can't say enough about my incredible experience living at Verge! From the moment I moved in, I knew I had found a true gem of a property. The sense of community here is unparalleled. The residents and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly feels like home. The management/maintenance team is responsive, professional, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure that residents are happy and comfortable. Inside my apartment, I found a haven of luxury and comfort. The spacious, well-designed layouts provide ample room for all of my needs. The modern appliances and high-quality finishes are a bonus. Location-wise, I love that I can easily access everything I need while still enjoying the tranquility of my surroundings. In conclusion, Verge has exceeded all my expectations.

Since moving to the Verge, i have enjoyed my experience. The staff has been great especially Ahmed and Maria. Also a great attitude when addressing my concerns or just saying hello. My only concern is that the pool table equipment is no longer accessible and the hours of rooftop amenities has been shortened.
