Pets allowed. Max weight 75 lb each. Pet limit 2 allowed. 1% pet rent may be charged for ALL other common household pets and may not cumulatively exceed 2% of rent. Unless authorized in writing by management, neither a resident nor any guest may bring any other animal, mammal, reptile, rodent, bird or fish into the dwelling or apartment community. We love your four-legged family members! Please be aware that the community will allow a maximum of two (2) pets per apartment in any combination.  A combined weight limit of 75 lbs. applies to all pets. The addition of all pets must be approved in writing by a member of the community leasing/management office.  Unless authorized in writing by management, neither a resident nor any guest may bring any other animal, mammal, reptile, rodent, bird or fish into the dwelling or apartment community. The following dog breeds (or any mix thereof) are not permitted, except in the case of service animals in which case, proper documentation is required: Akita, Alaskan, Malamute, American Bulldog, Cane Corse, Chow Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Husky, Mastiff, Pitbull Terrier, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Saint Bernard, Wolf Hybrid. There is a $250 non-refundable pet approval fee for the first pet, a $200 non-refundable pet approval fee for the second pet, and monthly pet rent of $50 per dog per month and $25 per cat or rabbit per month.Dogs allowed. The Shelburne has great units but is lacking in modern amenities. For one a package locker. I have had 3 packages stolen in the past year. This is unacceptable, especially in 2023, and a better solution is needed.

I am a resident living in the Shelburne. I love all the renovations and updates that occurred over the past couple of years. I enjoy the staff because they are very attentive and responsive. I would like to see more events and amenities in my building to boost the resident morale. Overall, I am comfortable and happy with my living experience.

I have lived in the Shelburne apartment for four months and it is a great place to live. Everyone is friendly, the location near Dupont circle and 14th street is unbeatable, and maintenance arrives in a timely fashion.

Location's great. Corner apt gives us the sunrise and sunset somehow, with wonderful views and vistas. But it ain't cheap, of course. Re: amenities, there's a basement laundry room, for-fee storage space, and an outdoor area to take the dogs. Would be great to have in-unit laundry or dishwasher or an open rooftop.

I recently moved to Washington D.C. although there were many logistical challenges my move in at The Shelburne was not one of them. The property manger, Carla is extremely helpful and attentive, the building is always clean and the maintenance request are answered fast within a couple of hours.
