Lived here for many years. Great neighborhood. Very convenient and close to work, stores, restaurants, supermarkets, hospital, etc.

I am on my second lease with The Savoy and the neighborhood is unbeatable. The front-desk staff and maintenance are helpful and attentive, and the place is overall clean and quiet.

Building is run down and very old. Elevator breaks constantly. Apartment itself is not worth the insanely expensive price. Small, cramped, need renovating, especially bathrooms (faucets leak and rust). Very noisy in building, mostly college students. Building needs serious upgrades and to lower prices for units because they are not worth the price. Price paid is mostly for location, which is prime. Staff is also great. Area is safer than anywhere else in DC.

I have lived here for about 2 years and it is great. Amber and the rest of the staff do an amazing job keeping the building clean and they are all super friendly and accommodating. It has a great location and is pretty good value. The pool is awesome in the summer and the fitness room is solid. Overall a great place to live and definitely would recommend.

My son moved in 2 years ago while attending GW. Super convenient to the campus. Safe building with some on duty at the door 24x7. On site laundry, fitness center and rooftop pool. Ms. Cato, Resident Manager, has been amazing during is stay. Staff is very friendly and maintenance team is knowledgeable.

Sufficient if you go to GW and want to live near school. But not great value for amount of money you have to pay.
