Overall Quality

I have lived in the Chesapeake for over 20 years. I started with a two-bedroomed apartment on the sixth floor, followed by a one-bedroom with sunroom and on the third floor and now, a one-bedroom on the fourth floor. The staff and maintenance crew members have always been kind, courteous and thorough. I love the Art Deco style lobby and corridors, the well-equipped gym, the business center and the garden that we share with the Saratoga apartments. Most importantly, this is a safe and beautiful neighbourhood. As a single woman, I feel very secure and enjoy walking in the beautiful surroundings during he evenings

Could be better for the price of rent

There are some positives here, recycling, community room, vending machines, etc. Downsides, for the amount of the rent, I think (some) of the staff could be more accommodating/considerate. This includes returning emails, sorting out Frontdoor, storage in the basement issues, using the elevator to move in, etc. I think they are very money-driven and that translates to a lack of renter focus.
