Today, The Kennedy-Warren is considered one of Washington’s finest examples of Art Deco architecture and has been designated a National Historic Landmark. The Historic Wing has just undergone an extensive but unique renovation. The charm of the 1930’s has been preserved while upgrading the plumbing, electrical, safety, and heating and air condition systems. Studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments still retain their original oak hardwood floors, nine foot ceilings, and oversized porcelain tubs. Love it

I've lived here for 2 1/2 months and have been really happy so far. The apartment unit (a large studio) is charming and spacious -- and I love the big, updated kitchen and in-unit washer and dryer -- and the indoor lap pool is such a nice bonus. Staff are great and residents seem friendly. I can't wait for it to warm up so I can use the outdoor spaces more often. Highly recommend.

Ratings - noise

the only negative in living in my apartment is hearing the upstairs neighbor - walking, showering, & their late night activities. Also noting the entry doors do not offer sound suppression and for privacy one needs to place a towel or blanket in front of the door and increase the volume of the TV or radio while making phone calls.

Reservation system for the pool

I am so glad we can reserve for the pool use, but Many of us have had trouble reserving through the Rent Cafe system. I have to go in and out several times to see available pool times. The times will be blocked out and then when I go back in available times will show up.

Kennedy Warren Remains one of DC's Best Addresses

I highly recommend the Kennedy Warren, whether it be the Historic Wing or the newer South Wing. The amenities such as indoor pool, state of the art gym, business center, and rooftop decks only add to the allure.
