Brunswick House is an excellent value in Dupont - located next to two key metro stops (dupont red line, farragut blue/orange/silver) and lots of good dining/bars. Area is very safe. The front office (namely Lora) and maintenance (Keith) staff are excellent and responsive. Several times they have gone above and beyond to resolve issues and make sure my living and moving situations were as easy as possible. I cannot commend them enough for their effort and professionalism. The building itself has relatively thick walls, reliable elevators, an Amazon hub, parking (you will need to wait and pay for a spot but that is consistent with the area), and friendly residents. In my opinion this is a much better deal than paying for a "luxury" (poorly constructed) Navy Yard or NoMa building with more amenities that you will never use. The studio apartments are larger than others I have toured in the area, and since the building was constructed some decades ago, it is rent controlled. The price actually dropped since I moved in if you consider inflation. There are also 1 bedroom apartments in the building.

Brunswick house

Building is in definite need of updates. Also, communication should be via email and not via wasting paper by posting signs in the elevator

Lora is the Best!

This is a large apartment in an excellent neighborhood. There's plenty of sunlight in the windows and a roof from which you can see several landmarks. Who really shines, though, are Lora and the rest of the staff. They're amazing and make sure that everything runs smoothly, that we have events, and that you can get what you need. Besides an improvement in HVAC / insulation, the only thing I'd improve about this building is making the roof more enjoyable throughout the year by making it a green roof with a partial cover and/or larger greenery to provide temperature regulation and shade.
