If you’re a fan of walking to bus/metro and dont mind hearing your neighbors a little, this place is great. Rent goes up every year of course so the value might change but the maintenance folks are great, even though it’s impossible to reach the ever rotating property manager. Lots of space in one bed appts, app for the laundry room, allows dogs, water pressure and temp is good.

The value is good for DC, but street parking is a bit stressful whenever I have guests and there’s only two washers and dryers for the whole building. My rent was raised in March, it raises every March, but so far that hasn’t been reflected on this website. Not near metro, which I like, pretty close to some bus routes though. The staff are great, very responsive to maintenance requests and the place is clean, but there’ve been five property managers in three years.

I love this building. Everyone is kind and maintenance always solves any issues. I would definitely recommend this location. The neighborhood is amazing and walking distance from grocery stores, gyms, and necessities.

Other than the washing machines, there have been no significant upgrades to the building since I moved in. For example, the bike room resembles a dungeon and has bikes that haven’t moved in years, and probably don’t belong to current residents. The call box at the front of the building still doesn’t work. Mail belonging to previous tenants piles up without anyone doing anything about it. Rent is going up, but I haven’t noticed any significant improvements to justify that.
