This apartment is a real gem. People who rent here live here for years because it's a great space, great price, and great property management.

Highly recommend this apartment building! It doesn’t have all the amenities like some newer buildings, but the rooms themselves are very spacious and charming with the wood floors. You can sometimes here noise being so close to a busy road depending on the location of the apartment room, but the walls are thick so I’ve never had issues with hearing neighbors. This is such an amazing place because of how close it is to the metro but more importantly, the management. They are so responsive and timely with any question/request.

Living at 2701 is not about amenities--for that you will look elsewhere. But if you want an exceptionally well run building that is quiet, clean and with a great vibe, well, you found the place. It's also literally steps from the Woodley Park metro elevator. I can be on the train platform in minutes. I have neither a dishwasher nor a washer/dryer and I could not care less. We have a great communal laundry space in the basement. The common areas of the building are very well cared for and the outdoor spaces are nicely landscaped. Santos and Seve are very attentive to the needs of residents. The building is minutes away from Rock Creek Park lending to its quiet nature. Nearby are new apartment buildings with all the amenities, bells and whistles where you can pay over twice the 2701 rent without a quarter of the value. I know, I tried that already--I'm home. I have lived at 2701 Connecticut with my wife for a couple of years, and we love it.  The building feels clean, comfortable, private, and safe.  There can be some quirks to living in a hundred year old building (like having to control your heat with radiators and your AC with window units, rather than having a central thermostat), but the building staff is very helpful in mitigating any issues that pop up.  I want to especially note the quick and professional responsiveness of the building manager Santos.  I also want to praise the building's recent snow removal, particularly noting the hard work of Seve.  2701 Connecticut is a great place to live and I recommend it highly.

I have lived at this apartment building for almost five years and never want to move! The building is gorgeous and characterful, full of friendly residents who greet and get to know one another at the frequent socials, and is very conveniently located next to the metro and many shops/eateries. The building is also meticulously maintained by the management team, Santos and Seve, who take great care of it and look out for us, too. They are so wonderful and ready to assist immediately with any question or concern, which makes me feel very safe and at home here. I would highly recommend this building to any prospective tenants!
