I’ve lived here 4 years and I have black mold in my bathroom, my kitchen floor has been coming up for two years. It’s too expensive for the lack of space and the amount that isn’t taken care of

my apartment

for the most part things are pleasant. One thing in particular that bothers me when anybody comes in the main lobby door or into the wrong apartment doors because of the fire doors they slam causing loud vibration that you could hear in all four apartments. things have fallen of the wall. The other thing is from time to time the lightbulbs in the hallways burn out it doesn’t seem like any come anybody comes by to check and restore them.

Noise and Smoke

I don’t know if any of the staff lives here or is only present during the normal working hours, but the noise at nighttime here can be very irritating at times. I’m not speaking in regards to the yelling at the baseball games across the street. I totally understand that. I’m talking about the loud cars in the parking lot. I’m not trying to sound like some grumpy old man (I’m only 33), but this is getting ridiculous. Late hours at night there are people sitting in their cars in the parking lot playing loud music. Many of us have work very early in the morning and need sleep. SOMETIMES it can be drowned out with the sound of an air conditioner, but that is in no stretch of the imagination a reasonable fix. On top of that, after being woken up at night by music in the parking lot, I am woken up in the morning to cigarette smoke. I thought this was a smoke-free property. That is what I pay for monthly. That is why I moved here. There are smoke free signs on the property here, but what good is a sign without enforcing rules? I already know of 1 person, whom I’ve seen smoking outside behind the apartment, and I’ve told him to stop. Now, he just smokes in his apartment and blows this smoke out of his apartment window or his car in the parking lot, which then comes into MY window. What are you going to do about this? Do I have to look for a new place to live because your residents cannot follow the rules and policies here? Please help!!
