Sunny bright apartment with a lovely view...
I have lived at Bella Vista for approximately five years and have enjoyed it here. If any issues popped up it was handled quickly and the maintenance staff was handy, knowledgeable, and friendly. Like most apartment building living you have friendly neighbors and some not-so-friendly ones. I enjoy my apartment very much. It has a lovely view, especially sunrise and most of all it is a wonderfully sunny apartment.
Well maintained complex
I've lived at Bella Vista Living Apartments for 4-1/2 years. I haven't encountered any problems regarding security, the guards are always around the buildings and very helpful when needed. The maintenance department is top-notch and they respond to a resident issue they might have in their apartment within a timely manner. The Management office is generally efficient processing rent recertifications. However, it would be good if Management regularly followed up with a resident to assess the need for new carpet and/or flooring. My carpet has become very discolored/worn and being that it's indoor/outdoor carpet it constantly accumulates dust and dirt and very difficult to keep clean; especially as a person gets older. It would be nice if Management offered residents a choice of replacing the carpet with vinyl flooring that will update an apartment and will also last much longer. Or upon resident request, if it's determined that new flooring is required; to schedule it accordingly(I'm not sure if it's true, but I was told a resident needed to wait ten years to have the carpet replaced, which seems excessive). Packages delivery by Amazon Prime/UPS/FEDEX could be managed better. Currently these deliveries are left in each building mailroom and open to anyone taking the package(s), unfortunately; this has happened to me a few times and now I have to watch out my window for the carrier truck and race downstairs to retrieve my package(s) for fear it might be taken. Pre-covid, the drivers delivered packages to the resident's apartment; but this was discontinued and I understand the health concern, so I'm not sure how this issue could be improved. Overall, I've enjoyed living at Bella Vista, people are friendly; enjoyable events are arranged and it's an affordable place to live.
Good value for the amount of rent paid.
I have had only pleasant experiences while live here.
Affordable, Secure, Well maintained
I've lived here four years. The building and the floor where my apartment is located is extremely quiet. I feel safe walking around outside because security guards are always present on the premises and they're very friendly. The Maintenance Dept. does a great job responding to any issue I have in my apartment that needs to be addressed. And overall, all the buildings are maintained well with; regularly scheduled water sprinkler testing; fire alarm strobe testing; pest inspection. The upkeep of the buildings is especially important to me and makes me feel that management is concerned about improving and maintaining the quality of living for residents. One thing that I would like is the option to replace the carpeting in my apartment with vinyl wood flooring. Being older, trying to keep the indoor/outdoor carpet clean can be a chore and it also tends to wear out with time and appears distressed; vinyl flooring would be much easier to clean and maintain. Lastly, the convenience of the store on premise is great; they stock many items that you would find in a large grocery store and prices are reasonable. The only negative is that they close at 5:00 pm weekdays and only open on Saturday until 1:00pm and 11:00am on Sunday. Another issue that could be improved is the delivery of Amazon Prime packages. Within the past three months, some of my packages have gone missing from the mailroom in my building. In all the time I've lived here this hasn't happened, so I'm not sure what's changed and I certainly don't want to accuse anyone; I just wish there was a better system to in place to ensure that I receive my packages. Overalll, I thoroughly enjoy living at Bella Vista.
