We lived here for about a year under the old management and they were spectacular - big shoes to fill. And then when your company took over we met Jeremy and he was super friendly and (seemingly) on top of things. We were optomistic. After he (and the other new folks we got to know in the office) left, it just seems like there hasn't been as much emphasis on community - which is one of the main reasons we decided to move here. On top of that, we just got new neighbors who are very loud and we are unsure how to handle it as they have kids. We don't feel comfortable asking the front office for help since the overall tone from this new management company has been more restrictive and heavier on penalties (with that weird "rat on your neighbors at the pool" email over the summer). We've made friends with lots of residents over the past year+ of living here, many of whom have decided to leave because of the management turn over, lack of consistency, and new vibe. Also, we had a terribly hard time getting our lease renewed bc of issues on the company's end (misspelled names, wrong information, etc.). And, the price justifications for the new costs made no sense to us even after we asked multiple times for more information. Unfortunately, we have decided to leave at the end of our lease for these reasons as well. I think your company has lots of work to do to get this place back to where it was. One of the big draws of this residence is the on site management and sense of community and those are in my opinion two things that need work since the turnover. The new maintenance team is really nice.
