I have lived here for about 4 months now and I would like to comment on how disturbing it is that I can hear every step my upstairs neighbor makes every day. The floor squeaks so loud, and even our apartments floors squeak when we walk so I know it is just really old flooring. The laundry is on site, not in unit, and each load of laundry is about15$ not even kidding because each washing machine and dryer is 3$ and you have to dry your clothes twice because after the first dryer cycle, the clothes are still soaked, no matter how small the load. The neighborhood is nice, but hearing your neighbors within the building sneeze because the walls are so thin does not make for comfortable living.
