Disappointed

Two weeks before move-in we were promised the central A/C would be fixed. On move-in day, we were told to delay, which we could not. Management verbally agreed to prorate our rent until the A/C was fixed, so we reluctantly moved into an 88° apartment. A portable unit was installed, then a second at the urging of maintenance lead David. These units were inefficient and had to run 24/7, adding $200 to our electric bill in one month, tripping breakers, blocking balcony/windows, and flooding due to condensation we couldn’t constantly manage with full-time jobs. If either unit shut off, the temperature rose 10° within 30 minutes, creating persistent health and safety concerns. When we raised concerns of the agreed upon proration, management backtracked. Their offer was inadequate and dismissive, with them claiming, “the 2 A/Cs we have currently in your unit are keeping your apartment cool.” This was simply false. The problem was management’s lack of accountability. Our request to delay repairs on July 21 was ignored. Central A/C was finally restored more than a month after we were told it would be fixed. Since then we’ve reached out over four times—many in writing—misleading and dismissive from Vanessa Wilson, and zero response at all from Director of Operations Jean Francois at Botnick Realty. What began as our dream home has turned into a nightmare of avoidable issues, poor management, and disregard for residents.

Disapointing

Two weeks before moving in we were promised the central A/C would be fixed. Come move-in day, we were contacted and asked to change our move-in date, which we were unable to do. After coming to a verbal agreement to prorate our rent from the move-in date to the date the central A/C was fixed, we reluctantly moved into the heat-filled apartment. A portable A/C unit was installed, which hardly made a dent in the temperature. David, lead of the maintenance crew, advocated for us to have a second portable A/C unit installed. These portable A/C units proved to be inefficient in cooling down the apartment. They also increased our electric bill by approximately $200 within 30 days, caused power outages that put our electronics at risk, denied access to our balcony and windows, and flooded the space around them due to condensation that we were unable to manage consistently because of our long work hours. We then went to talk about the proration with management, where we were met with confusion and a refusal to follow through with the previously agreed-upon proration. Additionally, there was no accountability from management. To make matters worse, the new proposal was inadequate and did not reflect the severity of the situation, as we were told, “I know that the 2 A/Cs we have currently in your unit are keeping your apartment cool.” This characterization was inaccurate. The portable units did not adequately cool the apartment and, in fact, required continuous operation to maintain tolerable temperatures. If even one unit was not in use 24/7, the indoor temperature rose significantly—often within less than 30 minutes—creating persistent discomfort and raising legitimate health and safety concerns. After that meeting with management, we asked that they hold off on repairs on July 21st as we had prior engagements to attend to. This request was not respected and instead was ignored.

Great hidden gem

The parking garage set up is amazing. It is gated and you can walk directly to the elevator to get to your apartment. It just adds an extra layer of safety. Also my maintenance requests are completed next day which is great and the leasing agents are extremely helpful and nice! Can't recommend this place enough.

Nice little spot

Its been a very nice experience here, Everyone is very nice and welcoming. Location is in a very nice spot as well. I will say that the price for 1 bed and studio are kinda crazy for the space but for the area its the best you can get with this quality.
