Good Value

Overall a nice place to live with responsive maintenance. It would be really quiet if not for how loud the doors in the building close. There is currently construction all around the building, but it's usually not loud and they keep the area around the site clean.

Decent Place at a Decent Price

I've been living at 870 Cherry for a almost three years not, and it's really a pretty good place. For an older building, my apartment is surprisingly well insulated from the noise of neighbours. Office and maintenance staff is responsive, although it is nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone without first having to leave a message or email. Rent goes up every year, but the amount isn't out of line, and honestly, rents are up everywhere. My only issue is that they have only provided two recycling bins for a building of over 20 apartments, one having mysteriously disappeared two years ago. They are always overflowing by the time they are collected each week. Oh, one more thing: there should be a weight limit on dogs. There are so many big dogs in these little apartments! I feel sorry for them, being cooped up all day. They bark and whine every time anyone walks down a hallway. Anyway, if you want to be close to parks, grocery stores, small local restaurants, museums, etc., it's a great location.

love the neighborhood

Maintenance is always prompt. Management staff is responsive. Pool could be cleaned more regularly. I liked the pool furniture from 3 years ago better than the newer stuff. Love the rooftop at 825 Dahlia. Laundry machines need to be replaced/upgraded. Maintenance is slow in this area (different company). Communal spaces are updated regularly and well-maintained. Call button/system is unreliable.

Very nice

Living here has been a pleasure. There is almost no noise, the amenities are great for the price. The only issue is parking. Yes, there are spots to pay for but they are very limited to an apartment complex that holds 3x as many people. Street parking is difficult when people from the hospital (even their own staff) park on our street. However, the street parking is not the complexes issue.
