I lived in the basement unit 09 for the last year and it has been an absolute nightmare. There are no opening windows for fire escape, no thermostat AC or heat control. No door to the bathroom, no dishwasher or microwave and you can hear everyone above you. Additionally I have had continuous plumbing problems and have had to put in an excess of 10 maintenance requests due to plumbing issues whilst living there. There have two week long periods of time where I did not have working water and had to go to Starbucks to use the bathroom. Maintenance staff themselves are wonderful and Ken is amazing. But this particular unit should never have been rented and without fire escape options should be illegal. Upon speaking to my neighbors they too have all had plumbing or electrical issues as the building is over 100 years old. Not worth the charm and is over priced. Great neighborhood and walkability though,

I think the parking situation could be better (lot of trash from work done on the premises + nails and other stuff that could be dangerous to pets/vehicles, etc.). Also, apartment gets way too hot, would be nice to have more climate control. Otherwise, not bad property.
