The building has been pretty good so far! It is a big step up from my previous apartment. The staff is pretty helpful with getting me moved in. It’s a little hot, and the air doesn’t really work too well but besides that it’s a way bigger space for the money that I’m paying, which is great!

I've lived in the 25 N Emerson building for 4 years now. The first 3.5 years was under Cornerstone Management, the most recent 6 months have been under Redpeak. The transition has been typical of kinks, miscommunication, and adjustments, but overall, has been decent. It appears Redpeak is actively updating parts of the building, like a new roof, but other things are leaving me baffled, like removing the recycle dumpster with no replacement. I have not seen many staff for the building, it appears they have had much transition and quick training of the new property manager. My rent increased $120 for a year renew with no alternative of a discount to extend my lease beyond 12 months, say to 18 months for 24, this made no sense to me as I was used to a 18-24 month renew and left a bad taste in my mouth, seeing this was my first interaction after the first the management transition. Overall, the building is just fine, the Redpeak property across the street seems to have all the bells and whistles while our building is pretty plain with near to no amenities.
