The apartment itself is beautiful but it is run poorly

The actual unit itself is beautiful but the building is run incredibly poorly. The garage was broken for over a year, still one of the garage doors doesn’t work and its been almost 18 months. Yet we still had to pay full price for parking, they only gave a concession once enough people complained. The hvac replacement project was extremely inconvenient and also took months. (And didn’t solve the problems management promised) The management does an extremely poor job of communicating projects and timelines to its residents. Yet you are late one day, or a few hours with rent and they put basically notice to evict letters on your door. The elevators are down every other week. The front door buzzer also has broken down probably a dozen times in a year. The building is listed as a luxury building with luxury apartment pricing, yet most of the time it feels no more luxury than a college dorm. I would never resign a lease here with the price that we are paying now. Poor management/maintenance at 2020 Lawrence!

Nice Apartment

The apartment could be much better if it allowed partial payments through the rent cafe portal and if they let us know ahead of time that they were stopping partial payments.
