Lacking in many areas for the price

This is my first year living here and besides the great location almost everything else has been below average. When we moved in multiple things were damaged and we were forced to pay the outrageously high maintenance fees for work that should have been done prior to moving in. The kitchen faucet constantly comes out and after maintenance fixes it, it breaks a week later. Why are we charged for that when the job done to fix it doesn't last????? In addition our neighbors like to blast music at the most inconvenient times, like 8:30 am on a week day or 2am. The vibrations from their music could be felt in my kitchen. My roommate even got his car keyed in the parking lot and because there are no cameras nothing was able to be done. WHY ARE THERE NO CAMERAS IN THE BUILDING????? There are also other residents that prop open the building front doors, diminish the already low level of security.

Updated but Dilapidated

949 Marine offers new appliances, granite countertops, and even AC. The amenities almost make up for the complete negligence of property management... but not quite. We have had countless issues with piping and drainage, to the point where they had to dig up the yard just so we could run the dishwasher without the kitchen flooding. Oh, and the garbage disposal burst! Luckily, the actual maintenance workers are kind and helpful, but the management is a joke. Four Star is absolutely incompetent. They pulled a bait and switch on us, not disclosing that two of the rooms were nonconforming, and they rarely respond to any form of request. I'm not sure if their employees are playing coolmathgames all day or if they're just too busy dealing with lawsuits filed by previous tenants. Overall, the place is okay, but it's basically a certified sham.
