Great not amazing
The apartments are very nice, expensive but the location is great. The entrance and side road to get to the parking lot is very bad. Has been like that for over two years and the potholes keep getting bigger. Aside from that its okay.
The apartment and location are great!
The apartment and location are great! It is pretty close to Pearl street and 8 minutes drive/bike to campus. The place is comfortable for 2 people, there is a lot of space. However, the rooms and closets have no light/lamp and the laundry is community. There is no insfrastructure for people with disabilites and a lot of stairs. So if you want to bring your bike upstairs or carry your groceries you need to climb the stairs with it.
Antiquated laundry system
Overall, the location and facility is wonderful. Where is fails, and fails miserably, is in the laundry system. Every other property that I have rented from has laundry machines that accept coins or credit cards. This property requires you to purchase a seperate laundry card by going to a website and registering to purchase a card for $5.00 then loading it periodically with funds. It not only adds another layer of bureacracy to your day, (and perhaps is a way to track your behavior?), more times than not there is a snafu in the loaded card and the laundry machine itself. I do not use these machines because of their unreliable nature. I end up going to Buff Laundry about a mile away. Please be aware of this major inconvenience before you rent from this facility.
