Willows At Ventura

I’ve lived here for about a year now and, overall, it has been a decent experience. The apartment itself is great it's very spacious and the AC works perfectly, which makes it a comfortable place to live. There are a few downsides, though. My specific unit doesn't have many windows, so it lacks natural light, and the fire alarm is over-sensitive; it goes off almost every time I’m cooking with multiple burners. Regarding the community, the street parking can be a struggle to find. Also, while there are plenty of dog waste stations, there is still a lot of pet waste left behind by neighbors, which is frustrating. For EV owners, be aware that there is only one public charging station on-site and it's expensive at $0.55/kWh with a slow charger. At that price, it's actually cheaper to go to a fast charger; for example, I pay $0.48/kWh at Electrify America with my membership. It would be great if the on-site charging was more competitively priced for residents. Despite these issues, it's a solid place to live if you prioritize a nice interior.

This location was noisy. There are quiet hours posted but they are not followed, not even by the staff. The ability to obtain information is very poor. The office acts like they do not know what you are talking about, saying they will look into it. But then never get back to you, even when you follow up with them.

Great location, close to everything such as golf, shops, hiking trails and the beach!

This place is beautiful! Gald. Made the decision.
