Since the day I signed my lease, living at The Colony Townhomes has been a series of constant headaches. I find myself submitting maintenance requests almost every month for recurring issues like a leaking washing machine or a clogged garbage disposal. ?Most recently, I woke up to water leaking through my garage ceiling from the second floor. A maintenance worker came out briefly to put a bucket under the leak and immediately marked the request as "resolved." As the day progressed, the leak worsened. When I went to the leasing office to ask for further help, I was met with complete indifference. Rather than addressing the emergency, the staff seemed more interested in making small talk about my clothing or making excuses. ?Despite it being a serious issue, they refused to send maintenance back, stating they had to wait for outside vendors because it was a weekend. Because the leak was in my garage, I could only park one of my two cars inside. When I explained that I have a special needs child who requires daily home-care staff and asked for a second temporary parking pass for his caregivers, I was told they "aren't responsible for guests." Even after a staff member mentioned she also had children on the spectrum, there was zero empathy or willingness to accommodate a simple request for a parking pass during an emergency they caused. ?I have already informed the office that I will not be renewing my lease. Between the reports of mold in other units and the multiple lawsuits currently facing this community, it is clear that management prioritizes rent collection over property maintenance. For $3,500 a month, you expect a safe, well-maintained home and professional management. Instead, these properties are aging, falling apart, and managed by people who do not care.

No noise. Clean , maintained well. Staff is okay but would be better if they called you instead of emailing you. I feel that’s not very professional

The work order process is ridiculous, I am still waiting for a response after a month for the upstairs tenant water leaking into my closet. Parking passes- only 5 given out per week. I can hardly ever have my family or grandchildren over to visit. There are potholes everywhere that never get fixed. The trash is always over flowing, bags opened and dumped on the ground. For the amount we pay to live here the maintenance should be done more timely.
