House Kept Up

The building is kept clean. The elevators, hot water heater, etc. are reliably functional. The ownership gradually upgrades the building - earthquake reinforcing, alarm systems, smoke detection, new windows, new hallway rugs, and so on. Resident-generated noise is minimal, whether from sound systems or from parties. Requests for routine maintenance get a fast response from nice, knowledgeable workers. The main nuisances have been a fire alarm system that gets set off too often and a need to have cars out of the back parking lot when the neighbor's foliage hanging over the back retaining wall needs pruning. I am a long term resident, and I view the property as well managed.
