Promises not delivered
To make a long story short, maintenance is very poor here, I have entered an appointment to come and look at my washer months ago and still waiting. Office staff at times are somewhat dry if not rude, that's my story.
San Marco Review
Good staff - thorough, efficient, knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, by-the-book. Parking a pain - too many 'second vehicles' tying up the visitor parking spaces. Sad that the beautiful common areas adjacent to the Leasing Office are not available for community use. Pools are beautiful but deck chairs and lounges need replacement / upkeep, especially at 2nd Pool Need to find a solution to Dumpster Divers making a mess of Garbage areas after dark. Appreciate Security presence over night, every night. They need to be even more active/present! An active, Mgmt supported & monitored, Community Text thread for sharing community info would be of great value. The Food Trucks are GREAT. Thanks!
"Luxury" Distinctive Urban Living
Parking is very hard to find - unless you want to pay an extra $75.00 for an uncovered parking space, or $140 for a garage. For the amount of rent we pay (around $2720/month) the outside of the buildings, fence, vehicle entry gates are not well kept. The Leasing Office area looks beautiful, but it's only in the Leasing Office and lobby area. The apartment units are your average, common units, without upgraded appliances. The walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbors both above and below you and the Fire Doors that are supposed to remain closed are usually open and the doors slam very loudly in high winds, shaking the floors of the units. The front door of the units don't have any type of soft-closing/hinged hardware and just slam shut behind you. The leasing contracts have many rules and regulations the Leasing Office wants you to follow, however they do not enforce any of those rules. Be careful of other tenants not leashing their dogs on the property (I had another dog try to attack and chase my dog that was leashed) and the pet owner didn't care. The location is good with easy access to Hwy 4. There are grade schools in the area close to the complex. Please do your own research if you're considering living in this community. I hope this helps others.
