Decently located apartment complex in Pico Rivera near major highways. Easy to get to all the places I need to go. Good selection of shopping in the general vicinity, relatively walk-able neighborhood on top of that.

I've been living here for a little over six years now after moving from Florida on a whim. I've got a decent commute to work in Glendale, but everything I look at closer doesn't seem like as good of an option because it either has some sort of dealbreaker or is just considerably more expensive for a similar unit. The cleanliness and quietness here keeps me happy here.

I've been at California Villages for almost 6 years now. I've got a bit of a commute for my current job closer to the city, and sometimes I think of moving closer to work, but the price I pay here and the quite charm of the place has kept me here. The place has a few of the typical quirks of many apartment complexes, like an outdated kitchen with too many layers of paint over my cabinet hinges, and a bathtub that needs to be replaced. But overall, I've been happy sticking here. The few other places I've seen are always missing something by comparison or charging a lot more.

Too expensive for the size, your basically paying for the amenities, and expect to pay out of pocket for pest control. Parking is a nightmare and if you have health problems that effect your mobility, then expect to have difficulty getting groceries up to your apartment. It's non smoking, so don't expect to smoke on your balcony. There's only one window, which is the sliding glass door to balcony, so no airflow. The water gets shut off unexpectedly quite often. They claim to pay water and trash on contract, then post a past due balance on your account for utilities, so pay close attention when signing the lease. Best fit for a bachelor who makes a lot of money.
