I was raised in pasadena, ca. Basically in the same location. I have seen the good side and the not so good side. But overall pasadena is a nice city to live in. You pretty much have everything you will need unless it is something out if the ordinary. If someone was to ask me what I like about pasadena, I will tell them to go into old town and decide for yourself.
