Sylmar Apartments

I have lived at 9373 Sylmar Ave. for 17 years. Throughout this time, I have seen mediocre maintenance and property managers, to great staff until recently. If I have a concern, a maintenance issue, or any questions, it is communicated and addressed promptly. It can be hard managing multiple properties and addressing/fixing issues for us tenants due to budget constraints. However, Rosalie does a very fine job. I have never had this much communication and rapport with any other manager since I have lived here. I have enjoyed living at 9373 Sylmar Ave. and other than minor inconveniences (laundry upcharge, gate breakdowns, rowdy neighbors), it has been a place I call home and hope to continue calling it home.

A lot of gatherings, non residents parking in the vendor or handicap, and marihuana users

Place def needs work. Management likes to dodge issues until you really call her out on it. They are picky on who they are strict with. Other residents just do what they want without repercussions.

Staff isn't the best. Management and staff was super nice when we first moved in helping us with everything we needed. Then months pass by and whenever we need help with maintenance in the apartment, maintence gets an attitude. They pick and choose who they enforce the rules on, definitely have their favorites and then Maintence talks poorly of other residents homes'. New management has taken over and some things have gotten better. However Maintence for the sylmar apartments still hasn't gotten fixed. Dont recommend living here

You guys need to fix the units cause they are falling apart.
