So far, So Good

As a new resident, I was weary of alot of the reviews of Hollis Oak- it didnt take long to see that those things have either improved, or werent a real issue in the first place. One of my favorite things about this property is that the office and building engineers are quick to respond and handle any issues or questions that arise, and thats important to me. the surrounding area and the buildiung itself feel extremely secure. It is quite quiet! loving my stay at Hollis Oak.

The worst thing is the street noise. Hollis Oak is a fairly convenient location, but it is not safe to walk around here. Hollis Oak is understaffed, and upkeep is poor; the owners should invest more into cleanliness and appearance. Needed is a resident staff member on-call for services and security. There should be MORE handicapped parking, as spaces are often filled by people without placards; spaces opposite to current handicapped parking could be converted to handicapped. Since people seem to be able to park here without being paying residents, re-code the garage entry monitor and replace the entry devices for paying residents. Staff should have a roster of resident license plates so that if they are parking in the wrong spot or unpermitted in handicapped, they can be contacted, and unpaying others can be towed and not just threatened.

worst thing is the relatively high traffic (for a residential neighborhood) but if thats the worst thing then you can do way worse.

All pet owners must complete Madison Park Financials Pet Application.  Common household pets shall include; domesticated dogs, cats, rodents, fish, birds and/or reptiles. We will allow 2 pets per household. Weight restrictions are as follows: No  more than 35 lbs each or one dog no more than 50 lbs. Prohibited Dog Breeds include:   Rottweilers, Staffordshire Terriers, Pit Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs, Akitas, Shar Peis, Dalmatians, Presa Canarios, Dobermans, German Shepherds, Chows, Huskies, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, St. Bernards, Mastiffs, Wolf hybrids, and mixed breeds of any of the above.  Also any other dog breeds expressly prohibited by the owners insurance company will not be approved.
