There have been many requests for fixing a outside door that was rotten causing black mold in the bedroom.

I've lived here for 3 years and I can't complain. The location is ideal, close to beach, freeway, town, and shopping. Although all housing is expensive in this area, this is the best value around I'm told. The on-site manager is great, maintenance is great and recently the whole place was repainted. Like having a gate at entrance. Can hear the freeway but also the ocean at night. Room for improvement: plants instead of gravel. More recycling bins.

I've lived here for 2.5 years and overall its been good. Personally I would prefer to live on a quiter back street and not so close to the freeway, but it sure is a convenient location.

I've lived here a few months so far. I have had a few issues, none of which get resolved in a timely fashion. Someone keeps parking their car in the middle of the road behind my parking spot and leaving their flashers on, usually for over an hour each time. I told the "On Site Manager" about this but it still keeps happening multiple times per week. I end up having to go park on the street because there is also no guest parking available at the property. The one time a friend of mine stopped by and accidentally blocked the managers spot though? The tow truck showed up in less than 15 minutes. Only cares about herself. The funny part was even the tow truck driver (we saw him through the window and ran down to stop him) said that the manager is a pain to deal with. LOL Manager also never shared the code to enter the laundry room with me. It has always been propped open so it wasn't an issue, but with some recent rains the door is now shut. It is the middle of the day on a weekday and she doesn't answer the work phone line, so I guess I just don't get to clean my clothes. Hopefully I don't get retaliated against for writing this, because obviously with the detail of the car with flashers thing the manager knows who I am. I guess we'll see.

I do love my apartment for the large windows, and the management responds well to maintenance requests however, the trash and recycling areas are often a mess. It is a very convenient location, but as a result I can hear noise from the freeway and overhead flights, though I can also sometimes hear the ocean waves breaking at night. Neighbors are friendly and considerate, and although there is an official 'no pet' policy, I am very happy to see a few dogs on site. Overall, relatively good value for this very expensive city. In addition I do appreciate the designated parking and electronic gate.

The location of this complex is most important to me and it is what has kept me here for as long as I’ve been here. Otherwise, the apartment was not cleaned before I moved in nor has any maintenance been done to it. It is expensive but so is everywhere else.
