Great location, but poor amenities

The apartments are spacious and the location is great, but the amenities are tired and the staff cut costs.

Better options

There are so many better options in the area for the price. Apt is dark and staff isn't helpful. Constant plumbing issues

move in

Took 3 weeks to generate lease (moved mid November in) and still unsure what is the lease status is, not able to reach the leasing office. On the move in day office made me sign paper version of the lease and informed days later that the signed document is not valid. Received wrong keys on the move in day and the door lock to the apartment needed to be change in order to get into the apartment. The rent amount and move in quote in the online account were different from the ones that the leasing office charged me, right now they are no longer available online. Since I have no lease and there are no quotes online, unsure how much the next months rent will be. Received registration code and fob key after moving in. Do not know if I have a selected parking spot or can park anywhere on the property, since leasing office is not replying I just part in the garage hoping my car will not be towed away :)

Alarms wake my children regularly

False alarms go off regularly waking my entire family including my 7 month old daughter. They are so loud in her room that I'm actually afraid her hearing has been damaged. If so I will sue this management company for this incredibly unacceptable situation.

Esprit

Love it! Only hiccup has been people parking on my spots about 5 days in three months, but it seems like it’s handled now. This is the only place I will live in LA. My next residence will be in Santa Barbara, but Espirit is the next best thing for me for now.
