Great place to live

Living in the Parkwood Apartment homes for the past 7 years has been a great experience. All of my concerns are always addressed in a timely manner, staff is always respectful and helpful. Maintenance always does an amazing job. Our pool stays clean, and our amenities are great. It’s a blessing to have a Gym, A/C & heating unit in our apartment a patio and fireplace. I love it here and I’m staying here until I move into my house.

Review of apt complex

I haven't lived in many apartments so I do not know how to properly rate the amenities or maintenance and such. I also do not interact with staff too much out side of picking up packages. So I rated those as average. However, parking has been an issue for me. I live near the front side of the apartment closest to Ave. I and Elm. Due to numerous unchecked vehicles I have had to park on the opposite side of the complex by guest parking almost consistently. Meaning I have to walk across the entire complex to get to my apartment on a daily basis, and it is aggravating when I have walk so far because of the many parking violators. For example There are a couple inoperable vehicles and motorcycles on the premises just taking up parking spaces. There are also vehicles that do not have the tenet sticker displayed in their windshield, and as such should be in guest parking, but instead they take up parking spots for tenants. On multiple occasions, vehicles have been parked over night in the handicap loading areas, as well as non-handicap vehicles in the handicap parking. It would be nice to see the parking lot actually monitored for unauthorized vehicles and other parking violators.

Pet Policy

We require a $300.00 Pet Deposit for the first pet, and a $100.00 additional pet deposit for an additional pet within accepted weight limits. Nonacceptable canine breeds are Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Shepherd, Husky, Malamute, Akita, Wolf-Hybrid, St. Bernard, Great Dane, Chow, and Bull Mastiff unless proper documentation has been requested. Two pets max per apartment home. A pet agreement is required and a monthly pet rent of $35 per pet per month will be charged.
