These are older buildings, but well maintained, as are the grounds. The apts are generous in size, yet the smaller complex puts all amentities close by. Maintenance staff if terrific, pool is pristine. Very secure. Terrific walking area and close to shopping, church and lovely downtown La Mesa. Low key tenants. No rowdy weekend parties. Guest parking very limited so I recommend multiple guests car pool. Appliances are new, but cabinets are dated.

Very close to downtown La Mesa, walking distance to great bars and restaurants, and on Friday the farmers market. I love this beautiful community.

Just want to shout out how Steve our maintenance helping everyone here! He never fail to say Hi and ask ask how's everybody's doing, he is one stop shop! One txt he's already by your door, anything you need always resourceful providing the best he can, to the management, please take care of him. He is a truly hard working person, honest and very kind. From small issues to drama he's there! Transparent and always giving a lift. ??????????

My family moved into Villa Capri 3 years ago. The first (almost) 2 years were frustrating. We had multiple maintenance issues that were not dealt with (leaky shower, leaky kitchen sink, unsafe patio rail, as well as many cosmetic issues). Since our new team (Stacy and Steve) took over at Villa Capri, all of those issues have been resolved. They have also fixed the outdoor lighting, which was hazardous, for the entire complex. They have worked very hard to make Villa Capri a safer, prettier, and nicer place to live. My family appreciates them very much! We actually were planning on moving out more than 1 year ago, but things have improved so much that we stayed.

Stacy and Steve are doing a great job. My wife and I have been here two and half years and it has never consistently been as safe and comfortable and clean as it is now.
