Pet Policy

  • Pet Restrictions: Vantis Apartments will accept up to two indoor pets per apartment with dogs restricted by breed and only allowed in specified dog locations. Cats and dogs must be spayed/neutered, licensed and inoculated as required by local law for each animal. Resident must keep license and inoculations current within the local municipality. All other types of animals must be caged. Reptile and fish tanks cannot exceed 25 gallons without management approval. Tanks exceeding 25 gallons will only be allowed in first floor apartments. Animals trained to assist blind, deaf, or other disabled individuals are always permitted. Dog Breed Restrictions: Dogs are restricted by breed and Shea Apartments does not allow any of the following breeds or any mix of the following breeds: Akita, Bullmastiff, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Mastiff, Shar Pei, Rottweiler, Pit Bull Terrier including Staffordshire Terrier, Am. Staffordshire Terrier or Bull Terrier, Presa Canario or Wolf Dog.    Pet Deposits: Pet deposits are:           1 or 2 Cats                          $500                                      1 Cat and 1 Dog                $850         1 Dog                                  $600                                      2 Dogs                             $1000   Pet Rent: There is an additional $25 per month pet rent per cat and $50 per month pet rent per dog.

Great place to live!

We moved into Vantis when it was brand new only five months old. We are going on our 7th year here; we like it so well. The amenities are beautiful and it is a restful place to be. There are many areas to relax with a book, enjoy friends and conversation. For those who work at home there are great areas on the grounds to get your work done. Vantis also has a great business center with a conference room for those conference calls. There are so many get away places on the grounds - fitness center, courtyards, swimming pools, the outside mega cabana, and the large living room, the hub and zen lounge. 5 minutes walking distance from our Vantis oasis is Regal Edwards Stadium Theater in Aliso Viejo's Town Center which also has many great restaurants from sandwiches to fine dining. In the summer time there are concerts in the Grand Park and a fantastic 4th of July show. Vantis is centrally located with Dana Point and the ocean just minutes away as well as other points of interest. Vantis is a one of a kind place to live and call home.

I like the great maintenance staff & overall style of the apartment. However, rent is now ridiculously high, no value for being a long term resident.

Great place!

We checked in at the beginning of the summer and spent our first summer in the US at Vantis. We had difficulties with check-in because we had just moved to the US and received our green card, but the management company went out of their way to help us apply correctly and accepted our paperwork! We are very grateful for the trust. There are a couple of downsides: the guest parking lot is always busy with residents, gas is constantly out in the BBQ's (1 out of 5 will have gas), fireplaces are also out of gas. The problem is that the management company itself does not check the gas refueling status, and the residents do not report that there is no gas. Great noise insulation, awesome pool and hot tub! The office is a great place to work when you get tired of working from home. Would like more common activities for the community!
