I have been living here for about six months and I love it! I moved across the country alone so feeling comfortable and safe in my home was a must. The staff is responsive and helpful, the rent is very fair for the space and neighborhood, and the location is amazing! The ferry is inexpensive and easily accessible to go to SF, and my commute to work in Jack London Square is a breeze. There are plenty of coffeeshops, restaurants, parks, and plenty of other shops within a short walking distance. Also, the bus stop is right outside, which makes public transportation simple. Overall I love living here!

Great location. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Parking could be better, if residents could use parking garage underneath building

I moved from SF to Alameda a few years ago, and Gallagher & Lindsay couldn't have been kinder or more patient with the process. When the Casablanca opened up, I had to grab it - the whole building is pre-wired for Xfinity, the whole team keeps it pristine, and my neighbors were THE BEST. We even had a Facebook page - some of my packages got destroyed and stolen over the holidays, and the residents took photos so I could file a claim. If you're new to Alameda, the Casablanca welcomes you with open arms. And if you're a local, it's literally right across from the Farmers Market - it doesn't get better in terms of location!
