This building is oceanfront, quiet, super close to work, so is overall a great situation for me. The building needs some major love on the outer siding. Parking lot is big but is sinking in spots and is a nightly tripping hazard unless you zig zag. Chris M. is friendly and caring but the higher-up peeps tend to keep us unsure about our future here which is stressful, especially for the senior folks. And I'm no engineer but is plopping a 9-storey on a mushy bluff a super wise idea....? Anyway, just my 2 cents.

There seems to be issues with elevator lately which i’m sure is being looked at. There are people who leave free stuff in the front lobby which makes the building look cheap. Perhaps there should be a box at the back so that people can still help but won’t be front and centre for everyone comng in to see. Just looks messy!

We seem to face constant issues with garbage and recycle pick up. Once again two garbage pick up days have been missed. This becomes a problem with animals and birds getting into it. This is a health issue for the whole community.

As indicated happy I live here, poor timing (or never completed) on maintenance in apartment often cheapest available. Building maintenance decent timing, but upkeep poor (which im guessing is more of a comment on maintenance budget for cleaning and investment. Stark contrast to apartment next door who's interiors even pre-reno are painted regularly, carpets deep cleaned often, etc

There really needs to be more work into beefing up the place. Parking lot is dangerous for seniors with walkers because of undulating pavement. Parking lot wasn't plowed during the last snow so I had walk to work in the a.m. Other old apt buildings are being beautified lately. Ours could be too? Washing machines are too expensive for a low income building. The location of building is excellent as it is quiet and close to green spaces. And lots of parking here plus a big pick up/drop off area at the back which is really handy. Rent shouldn't be raised up to market value because those new apts have a/c & in suite washer & dryers. Other than that it's good living here. Thanks for listening.
