Poorly managed and built

This building was built on a timeline and it shows daily. Minimal soundproofing between floors & from street noise. It is a revolving door of resident managers who do not know how to fix the issues that come up daily. Elevator is down at least once a month (sometimes for weeks), alarms and sirens going off constantly, cleaning/maintenance is abysmal and trying to contact anyone from the rental agency is a nightmare. Perks are being pet friendly, the option for (expensive) underground parking (although, this is mandatory as there is insufficient street/free parking for # of residents in building) and having access to a dog wash.

The Shores

I've lived at the Shores for nine months. My favourite things about the building are the amazing location right on the river and that it's a pet friendly building. I also love how energy efficient the building is and the finishing and looks in each unit. The only major downside is the lack of storage, as my unit only has two closets and no storage locker.

A little oasis

I have loved living at the Shores. Being close to to the Courtenay Airpark and along the river has been such a wonderful reset. The building is clean and safe and the neighbors are friendly. I am also so grateful to have a nice place to live with my furbies, not always easy to find pet friendly accommodation. Guest parking can be a challenge because the street is often packed with parked cars but even for that, it doesn't feel busy or bustling.
