The Mid at 4th Ave Apartments

First of all, you gotta pay extra for an upgraded apartment. I'm in a (not upgraded) studio, and it's absolutely not worth $1000 a month. Black mold in the showers, termites in the kitchen. Maybe worth ~$700 a month at best. The property manager is an absolute angel, but whoever owns the complex needs to reevaluate their priorities. It looks nice from the outside, but the apartments themselves are of highly questionable value. Not to mention my apartment clearly wasn't deep cleaned when I moved in. Overall 5/10 quality. Mid.

Good location but unreasonable price

The location is convenient. The apartments themselves are average, nothing too special. In just one year, they're increasing their rent over 40%, which is too much because while they're working on some outside improvements, (1) nothing is going to be done inside my apartment to change my experience, and (2) 40% in one year is more than inflation rate and the increases in prices anywhere else.

Bummed that the price is going up next year

Was a really good place to live and MEB is relatively responsive to maintenance requests and emergencies (which there may be a few of due to the unit's age, completely understandable). Really sad that the price is going up next year because the price (last I checked for an availability in my unit it was 950 dollars, I am paying 650 dollars this year ) and location was perfect, so I'll have to be moving.
