Price

Rent started out as $559 and once i was here for a year and resigned my lease it went up to $645. Now its going up to $710 I get that it goes up but this place isnt worth $710 when you can tell it was bulit in the 80’s. Also if you like natural light def wouldnt live here its super dark and all my plants died because I couldnt leace them out side because there was no room unless i wanted to step over them all the time or them accidently getting knocked off the ledg on the second floor

East Oaks/Oakshire

I have been at Oakshire for almost 9 years now. My apartment is the perfect size, and I've always been lucky with my neighbors -the neighborhood is in a quieter part of town, and the people living here are quiet people. The staff at the apartment have always been quick to respond to my inquiries, and give you plenty of notice for any inspections or if the rid-a-pest team comes by. They always give at least 3 months notice before my lease renewal, and are very clear about the new lease terms. The yearly increase is never too unreasonable. I love the East Oaks community, and will only leave when it's time to move into a house :)

Move in and condition of apartment was horrible.

Now that I a new door/frame and refrigerator have been installed, and after I have cleaned the apartment and have settled in (and made due apologies to the staff for my behavior in regard to the condition of the place moving in, my nerves have calmed, and I am a happy camper. My apartment is comfortable.
