Location is great, leasing company not as much

The location of the property is great for walking downtown or even to Bryant Denny. The apartment for what you get compared to the rest of Tuscaloosa in my opinion is slightly overpriced. There is a bug problem and the leasing company has not done a good job of getting that under control. Also, this is the first complex I have lived in where they do not send a courtesy email on the last day that rent is due if it is your first time almost being late on rent. This is a college town and during May during finals week, rent was due. Everyone is stressed and I looked around there were so many late rent notice tags on doors probably because it just slipped everyone's mind with finals and they sent zero courtesy emails and immediately charged 10% of the rent as a late fee. I understand but I have lived in multiple complexes and this is the first time I had ever been late on rent because no email or reminder was sent out.

Walls are extremely thin & noise is an issue.

Walls are extremely thin & noise is an issue from college tenants---it doesn't matter whether you live on the 2nd or 3rd floor. You can hear when people below you are yelling, and when people above you are walking or even flushing a toilet. And the walls vibrate when neighboring tenants play music above a certain threshold.
