Convenient and clean

A very nice place to live, conveniently located near downtown and close to many points of interest in the cities of Tuscaloosa and Northport. The pool and gym area are always clean, and the apartment maintenance is excellent. While only a few minor details related to the age of the buildings can be noticed, the floor of the tennis court does need repair.

Great Apts - Lacking Amenities

Overall, great apartments in an excellent location. However, the minimal workout equipment doesn’t quite compare to other apartment complexes in town.

So happy to be here!

When I knew I would be moving to Tuscaloosa, I began looking at apartments on line. When I found Rivermont Apartment Homes, I looked no further. When I came for a visit prior to my move, I only looked at Rivermont. I haven’t lived in an apartment since 70s. I had some apprehension because it was all new to me. Now I’m here. I can’t think of one single thing that I change. It is so quiet! Repairs have been taken care on the day requested them. The grounds are neatly maintained. And the, there’s the River Walk. I walk there almost daily. I can hardly believe can go to the Black Warrior River anytime I want to. And, like the rest of Rivermont, it is well maintained and it is private to the residents. I love living in Tuscaloosa and the Rivermont Apartment.

Great location; needs work

Rivermont has the capability of being one of the nicest apartment complexes in Tuscaloosa. This is partly because of it’s great secluded location right near downtown Tuscaloosa. Maintenance is top notch and will answer your call just about anytime. Rivermont lacks updated appliances( both in apartment and in the complex) and is almost equivalent to an apartment of the early 2000s. For the lack updates to the apartment and the complex, I feel that it is overpriced. Another issue is parking. There have been several times where there are not enough parking spaces when coming home. Overall Rivermont is fairly safe, pleasant, and live-able, but it needs work to live up to its potential and its Rent.
