Unbearable Noise

I've lived here for less than 6 months. The apartment and amenities are nice. The parking is good also. I must say the biggest problem I've encountered here is the noise level from my neighbors that live above me. They are inconsiderate and let their children run in the apartment like they are on a playground, they play ball in the apartment all day every day, run and stomp and throw things in the floor. This is obnoxious and it makes the quality of living here very poor. The management say they will address the issue and they may have but it continues and does not get better. The resident knows that according to the noise ordinance in Jefferson County they must become more quiet at 9pm so things may quiet down around 10-11pm and then start back up when the adults drop things in the floor around 2-5am and stomp loudly. Something needs to be done about this because it affects a persons overall quality of life, you can't work, take a nap, watch a movie, or read a book in your apartment. This is annoying for everyone that lives under or adjacent to this resident. The resident adjacent will hit the wall to try and get them to calm down. This would be a great place to live if something could be done about this issue. I understand that apartment living is not like living in a house but this type of behavior should not be tolerated or allowed to happen to this extent. I'm hoping this review will be considered and management will address it to get positive results.

I’ve been asking for the ceiling to be fixed in the apartment for months and no one has been here to fix it. Someone came to take pictures but did nothing else

Noisy upstairs neighbors and a little too strict about just being 2 or 3 days past rent due, but overall a good place to live.

Not worth the cost

I have lived in these apartments multiple years. The rent increases ~3%-10% each year. Maintenance issues are not addressed to my standards and no notice is given before maintenance enters your apartment. Lastly, residents do not control their children and/or guests. They are loud, disrespectful, and use the individual buildings as play grounds to run up and down the stairs, yelling and carrying on, and use the stairwells as hang outs. This occurs during “quiet” hours, day and night. In addition children play between residents vehicles and at times collide with them. Overall, this is not a “peaceful” or “relaxing” place to live as the residents who have moved in over the past couple years are not ideal neighbors. Lastly, neighbors put your belongings in jeopardy by grilling on patios, and blatantly disregarding any “rules” within the lease, such as pool use, proper pet waste disposal, and other simple requirements. This property could be good again managed by the appropriate leadership, but it has steadily declined since I’ve moved in. I’m hopeful I am not those individuals referenced above adding to these items reviewed as I do try to respect others but clearly am not perfect.
