Irresponsible Property Managers/ Representative

We just moved into this building 5304 147th in the middle of April 2022. As I write this review, I have not been given access to my mail box. Every time I asked the representative or the property manager (Earlyn Somerville), she kept telling me that she has to wait for Canada post guy to come and that she would track him down and get the keys. it over 20 days now, and she has NOT taken the responsibility to get the keys for me. I offered to call post Canada so that they could drop for me the keys, but she said that post Canada can only be contacted by the property owners. There is also another tenant whom I met at the office who was looking for the mail box keys. This tenant told me that she had moved in to the opposite building in November 2021 and she has NOT been given the mail box keys. clearly, there is lack of taking responsibility from the property admins. If the landlord is reading this, I would like to get an immediate intervention and end to this irresponsible behaviour of the property administrator.

Great new building manager

Our new building manager is very much on the ball and is helping to make lots of improvements to these older buildings and ensuring that everyone is following the rules of the apartments :) Happy to see a pro-active building manager!

Great place.

The apartments themselves are alright. For what you pay, it's worth it in my opinion. I rent a 2 bedroom and I'm in my third year living here.. so it can't be that bad. The people in the building I find are usually very friendly.. Everyone just kinda minds their own and sticks to themselves. I've never had a problem with any of my neighbors really so far. There was one thing in my first year with a neighbor above me and the staff handled it quickly and I haven't had anything go on with anyone since then. The staff in the office are amazing, very caring.. personable.. laid back.. they're all super easy to deal with and actually care about you as a person as well as making sure the building is looked after. Any problems maintenance wise is dealt with ASAP and the maintenance guys are both very friendly and do a great job. The building itself has a bunch of little quirks.. but its an old building, like really old haha.. it's going to have some bruises. It's a quiet, peaceful area.. probably one of the best places I've lived in. Amazing place for a single mother, like myself. Very kid friendly atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment to rent. 100%.

quiet living needs cleaning

great service staff especially Steven always friendly and accommodating and amazing location for city access .... minor homeless issue .... major dumpster cleanliness issues that spread across the property leaving litter around after main dumpster zones weekly cleaning (mostly related to the vagarent issue)
