Unbelievable customer service. Our box truck got stuck in the snow because it was not plowed for weeks after a few large snow storms. He then said that he has no sympathy because other smaller vehicles have gotten through, and it was because of our driving that we got stuck. Despite the fact that it was on the main path! Incredibly rude and unprofessional!!!!! Would not recommend! ... Read more

The people that run this place need to sell it and retire! They are so rude!! The only way to pay is to go there or call in and hope that someone who is there can figure out what your payment is and feels like taking it. If you store anything there and are out of state, you need to find another storage place. They say they don’t want your property, but will foreclose on it if you can’t keep calling to find someone to take it. There is no online system to make any payments whatsoever. They say they have video cameras but will not look at them to tell you if your property is still there or if there is any damage to a parked vehicle that is out in the open! They will talk to you like you are bothering them and want to lecture you instead of figure out how to get their money. Never, ever store anything there!! You have been warned! ... Read more

I had an issue with my passcode working so I called the office to see if they could tell me if there was an issue with the system. The guy was exceptionally rude telling me that I "don't pay him enough to get out of bed, shower, put on clothes, and come out to help". I will definitely be finding a different storage company. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at AAA Self Storage - 1618 East Park Avenue include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
