Ended up moving from Florida to WV on a short notice, I called after normal hours and spoke with Jude. Jude helped me get everything set up within the matter of minutes and thoroughly explained everything. 10/10 would recommend using! ... Read more

Rhino Self Storage has been a great company to do business with. The facility is well maintained, clean, well lit and was perfect for the needs of my belongings. I actually still have a unit with them and will continue to do so to store the additional items. I just didn't need two spaces so I emptied most of those contents into the other unit. I highly recommend Rhino Self Storage if you're looking for a storage unit/facility. Also the app feature of accessing your unit is perfect.... you don't have to fumble around and find your key and then deal with a lock. You just do it all on your phone. It's a great feature!! ... Cleanest storage unit I've ever rented. And the cost is great for climate controlled units. And it's 10 minutes from home. You definitely can't go wrong with Rhino. Also a plus are the flatbeds that are there for your convenience. The hours are a plus too because most storage businesses are closed a lot earlier than 10pm. The security is a huge plus. If you don't have my phone you aren't getting in the place. So for the thieves out there your bolt cutters are useless. Go Rhino. T.Spradling ... Read more

Began renting a 10x30 unit beginning in May 2024, which is the largest unit I've seen anywhere and the rental plus insurance is reasonable. Other competitors in the area didn't have anything this large and the largest unit at a competitor was 10x20 at almost the same monthly charges. Rhino in Charleston WV is state of the art and we have been happy renting here. Unfortunately (for the owner) and fortunately (for us), we are hoping to move into our home before Christmas and will be moving out of the unit soon. The General Manager is great and I bugged him so much he started answering my calls addressing me by name :) ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Rhino Self Storage - 927 Oakhurst Dr include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Kiosk Available, Parking, Keyless Unit Access, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Rhino Self Storage - 927 Oakhurst Dr start from $76 and can go up to $297 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
