This must be the only way to contact someone who works here seeing as how phone calls and emails don't get responded to. Here's my email I sent out last week, Hey, I rent ***, I've sent messages and called and no answers to messages, whomever I talked to on the phone said they'll get back to me. Haven't heard nothing back or seen anything change. First, driveway is washed out. Y'all got potholes all over the yard, playing frogger when I drive in there, some are over 6 inches deep. It's ridiculous. You guys charge slightly higher than average pricing and why, nothing you guys offer is any better than the storage unit up the road. Second, the eyesore of the building that's falling over. Looks like someone drove their car into the side of the building. Is there a reason it hasn't been fixed yet? I expect to see this in Milwaukee not out here. Third, says office is open 24 hours? Not true, I rode in there in a motorcycle the other day, when I was leaving the automatic gate wouldnt see the bike and open, ok no problem. I called the 24hr office to see if they could remotely open it - no answer. So here I am with a bad leg and knee jumping the fence to put my code in on the outside. Fourth, my roll up door come off the track EVERY SINGLE TIME I open or close it. The tracks are mounted too far apart from the door itself. Again I've contacted you guys a few times now and it's still not fixed. Do I need to fix it and send you a bill? I don't work cheap especially for a company, Trenton storsafe, that has left a very poor impression on me. So with all that being said, I want to know when my next billing cycle is and request you do not renew it, I'm tired of your entire establishment and I'm moving on. You guys charge a premium price, I've done my research and you guys are slightly above the average price around for similar sized units, so how you think you guys can charge more and receive less is beyond me. I'm done and over all of it. I've attached 2 pictures showing the door from yesterday. One is the initial closing and the whole side of the door is off the track, second is how I left it because I had to be somewhere and couldn't spend any more time than the 20 minutes I did spend trying to get it back. And as you can see it's still not set in right so anyone can break right on in and steal my stuff. I expect an appropriate timed response to this matter. Thanks a lot! No response from that one so here's the next one I sent, Hmmm I guess you don't know what appropriate timed response means..... Well thanks for taking this matter seriously, obviously it shows you don't care about the facility or your customers. Update to my unit: Door came off the track, AGAIN, this time it got jammed and I had no choice but to fix it myself. Seeing as how I fixed it, on a weekend, after normal business hours I'm thinking $200 is fair and owed to me, right? Thanks! To whomever runs this place, a simple response would have gone a long way. Ive been renting here for less than 2 months and already looking elsewhere. Way to go! Keep up the great work! ... Read more

Amazing service via call & online! Penny is so kind, helpful & Awesome energy! She took the time to answer all my questions. Singing the lease online was so simple. In 20 mins, she helped me find a unit, explained everything to me & got the lease signed. I love the fact that it didn’t feel pushy or trying to upsell me on things I don’t need. She should be teaching customer service classes. ?? I’m grateful that she made an unexpected, stressful situation so calm & easy for me! & HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Can’t say it enough, amazing service! ... Would not recommend. We were told the area was secure, gated with cameras. Not so. One gate was completely gone, not secure. The storage lockers are iffy, tall grass surrounds them and the gravel driveway is in need of serious repair. ... Read more

Experience was OK. The doors at this place are the cheap rollup. The first unit they gave me the door was caved in. When I moved out a month later several doors with peoples locks on it were caved in. They gave me a new unit that door wasn't caved in. When I checked out they requested I email photos and let them know when I was out. I did that, then someone called to tell me I was scheduled for move out that month. I corrected him. Then I got per our policy locks need to be removed. I put THEIR lock back on the unit, but got yelled at for it, even though it was clearly stated in my email they requested I send. Rent is cheaper for the area but overall I wouldn’t recommend the place. It’s nothing but mud and cheap construction. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Lion - 4975 Cal Drive include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Kiosk Available, Credit Cards Accepted, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 700 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Lion - 4975 Cal Drive start from $63 and can go up to $462 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
