Impossible to cancel contract even after confirmation back from them it is cancelled with 30 day notice and final prepay. They will send notices of late payment and lien notices. Multiple texts, emails and phone calls will go unanswered trying to confirm cancellation. ... Read more

Go somewhere else. They do not care about their customer's needs, no matter their situation. We vacated a month early, gave notice, and they still will be charging us anyway because money matters more to them than people. Also, there was evidence of bugs and water when we vacated. And they are VERY difficult to reach during non-business hours. They will be getting paid DOUBLE on our former unit as they'll be taking our money as well as whomever is foolish enough to rent from them next month. BUYER BEWARE ... Read more

This company bought out the storage unit company that I was currently using. The previous owner was a marvelous human being- this new company is extremely greedy and has increased rental prices twice in six months. Not only that after the purchase and during the transition they charged extra fees. They blamed their increase fees and costs and administrative needs, but that is bs because a storage unit is a fixed cost that does not require staff or additional maintenance. The difference in the price I was paying before they were owners versus now is equivalent to the cost of a whole extra storage unit. We will be vacating our units and looking elsewhere. Update May 11 2023: They're shadiness continues . Vacated our indoor storage unit yesterday and when I called to cancel our contract we were told that both our indoor unit and our outdoor unit have been scheduled for a May 31 move out date. We never scheduled this with them, nor did we ever indicate move out date of any kind with them. I believe they did this in retaliation for me leaving the initial review. I made it very clear that we are not canceling our outdoor one yet until we find a place to park our camper. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Mid-West Mini Storage - 215 County Road CB include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
