Jazznique G. - 21 July 2025
The storage walls in the units are cheap cardboard that caves in on other units. There are rats and bugs as well. I vacated the unit on the 1st of the month. Yet they are trying to extort me out of 42 dollars. To the point they sold it to a 3rd party. Pretty pathetic for 42 dollars. I am being charged for a month i wasn't there. They could have rented it out the same day to someone else. Yet the employees are wage slaves that can't think for themselves. Their excuse is that i didn't vacate a day before. So they think they can charge me an extra month after i already vacated. The employees will just do whatever they are told. Not thinking for themselves. They also raise their prices at random as well. ... Read more

Store at your own risk! I would not recommend. If I could post 0 stars I would. They have a really bad rat problem and aren’t doing anything to fix it. So unless you want your stuff chewed up and pooped on this is the place for you. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 5730 North Lovers Lane Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 5730 North Lovers Lane Road start from $26 and can go up to $146 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
