I've been trying to get my security deposit back from this guy (Joe) for 2 months now. It was a new unit when I moved my stuff in and it was left in the exact same condition. All money was paid upfront for the 2 month minimum rental. Funny how this guy always want his money up front. Wonder if he feels like everyone behaves like he does...screwing people out of their money. ... Read more

This was my first time using Minimax storage. I have used numerous other facilities in the past, but this was by far my best experience. It surpassed all my expectations. The customer service was outstanding, and the manager was very hands-on and pro-active. He was very quick to respond to any question that I had. The unit was super clean, security was top notch, the price was very competitive, and the location was very convenient. This will be my go-to storage facility in the future and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to store their belongings. ... Read more

Excellent place to use for any storage needs. I rented a storage unit with Joel at Minimax Storage for over one year and recently moved into my own home. I truly appreciated the safety of the location as it is gated plus the outstanding service and professionalism from the owner, Joel. The unit was clean and site well kept up and any questions, etc., that I had the owner was more than accommodating in both his response time and assistance. He even went out of his way to help me when I moved in. Would highly recommend. ... Read more

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 387 to 930 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Minimax Storage - 1820 Bud Drive start from $155 and can go up to $320 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
